01 Getting Started
Welcome to the CSR family. Before your first ride, take 10 minutes to complete these steps and get the most out of your new electric motorcycle.
First-Time Setup
- Download the CSR Connect App from the App Store or Google Play.
- Create your CSR account and register your vehicle using the chassis number (found under the seat).
- Pair your phone with the bike via Bluetooth in the app Settings.
- Set your preferred PIN code for keyless lock & unlock.
- Charge the battery fully before your first long ride.
Pro tip: Register your warranty within 30 days of purchase on our warranty page to activate full coverage.
Dashboard Indicators
- Green battery icon — charging or fully charged.
- Amber battery — below 20%, find a charger soon.
- Red battery — below 10%, range critically low.
- Wrench icon — service reminder due.
- Shield icon — anti-theft alarm active.
02 Riding Your CSR
The CSR rides differently from a petrol bike — instant torque, zero warm-up, silent power. Here's how to get the best out of every mode.
Drive Modes Explained
Maximum range. Throttle response softened. Recommended for daily commuting — 200 km range.
Balanced performance and range. Top speed 70 km/h, range 150 km. Best for urban traffic.
Full motor output. Maximum torque and 110 km/h top speed. Range 110 km. Spirited riding.
Ride safely: Always wear a helmet and appropriate riding gear. The CSR's instant torque can surprise first-time EV riders — be smooth on the throttle.
Pro tip: Regenerative braking increases range. Use the regen paddle on the left handlebar in city traffic to recover energy on every deceleration.
03 Charging
Charging your CSR is as simple as charging your phone. Here's everything you need to know.
Home Charging (Standard)
- Use the included 15A portable charger only. Do not use third-party chargers.
- Open the charge-port flap on the left side panel.
- Connect the charger to the bike first, then to the wall socket.
- The charging indicator on the TFT will show progress. A full charge takes ~5 hours.
- Disconnect the charger from the bike before unplugging from the wall.
Important: Never charge in rain or standing water. Always use the CSR-supplied charger — using non-certified chargers voids the battery warranty.
04 Safety & Controls
The CSR 762 features multiple active safety systems working together to keep every ride secure.
ABS & Braking System
- Dual-channel ABS prevents wheel lock on hard braking. Do not disable.
- Front brake lever (right) controls the front hydraulic disc.
- Rear brake lever (left) controls the rear disc and activates regen braking.
- Combined Braking System (CBS) applies the rear brake automatically when the front is pulled hard.
Anti-Theft System
- Arm the alarm via the CSR app or the left-handlebar button (2-second hold).
- Any motion triggers the alarm and sends a push notification to your phone.
- Remote kill-switch: tap "Immobilise" in the app to prevent the motor from starting.
05 Maintenance
The CSR 762 requires far less maintenance than a petrol bike — no oil, no clutch, no spark plugs. Here's your check schedule.

06 Troubleshooting
Common issues and quick fixes you can try before calling support.
Bike Won't Start
- Check the kickstand is up — the motor cuts off if the stand is down.
- Ensure the kill switch (right handlebar) is in the RUN position.
- Check if the anti-theft immobiliser is active in the CSR app.
- Verify battery level is above 5%.
Range Lower Than Expected
- Check you're not in Sport mode — switch to Eco for maximum range.
- Cold weather reduces range by 10–20%. This is normal.
- Tyre pressure below 32 PSI significantly reduces efficiency.
- Check battery health report in the app for capacity degradation.
