After a year of daily use across Bengaluru's notorious traffic, the CSR 762 remains one of the most compelling EV propositions in the country.
The bike logged 10,143 km on the Autocar long-term fleet between January 2024 and January 2025, used primarily by two reviewers for daily 24 km commutes plus occasional weekend rides.
What Worked
Battery health stayed at 96.4% after 10,000 km. Zero unscheduled service visits. The touchscreen and connectivity stack remained stable across four OTA updates. Tyre, brake, and chain wear were all within expected ranges.
“Twelve months in and the CSR 762 still feels like a new bike. That's the highest compliment we can pay any EV at this price.”
— Long-Term Test Editor, Autocar India
Areas To Improve
The seat firms up on rides past the 90-minute mark, and the IRVMs vibrate at city speeds. Both are addressed in the upcoming 2026 model refresh, Svitch has confirmed.
